My name is Big Mick.

I’m a writer, a Marine, a New Yorker, and a graduate student at Syracuse’s Television, Radio, and Film program. In 2024 i have written and starred in a comedy short Big Mick’s Auto Palace. The short is about recently indicted Utica mobster “Big Mick”, who is using a commercial, for his front car dealership, to intimidate the local judge, prosecutor, and witnesses in his RICO trial. I have also written and directed a short film Don’t Follow. The film follows a Theroux-like wonderer, who abandons society for the mountains and forest of the Adirondacks. In 2021 I graduated from College of Charleston’s Fiction writing program. I’ve written award winning pieces such as The Copper Thief and have been published in College of Charleston Magazine. My work has been referenced by outlets such as Business Insider and Washington Post.
